AlturnaMats (or similar) will be used to protectthe lawn and resource areas during construction of the array.·All work will be completed above Mean High Water (MHW). Siltfencing will be installed landward of the Mean High Water lineprior to the commencement of work.·A mini tracked excavator and mini tracked skid steer will beused for construction of the fiber roll array; construction will befrom the top of the bank.PLANTINGS:·Plantings to be installed after all work associated with theinstallation of the fiber roll has been completed.·If feasible, install a temporary, above-ground irrigation systemto provide supplemental water to all plantings for 2-3 growingseasons or until plants are fully established.·Seed the top of the array with the CLM Custom RestorationSeed Mix and plant according to the plan.ONGOING MAINTENANCE:·Monitor the project area and perform assessments after asignificant weather event to determine how the installation isperforming and if any changes or additions to the installationare necessary.·Nourish the installation with compatible sediment as necessaryto maintain design profiles as shown on the plan. Nourishmentneeds may vary from year to year for volume and frequency.·Any areas of the installation or components that aredamaged, degraded, or exposed will either berepaired/replaced or the exposed portions will be removed.CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS:·All machine work will be completed by an insured operatorwith the appropriate hoisting and hydraulics licenses.·All tree removal work will be completed and/or overseen byan ISA or MA Certified Arborist.CLM Custom Restoration Seed Mix:Carex brevior (Plains Oval Sedge),Danthonia spicata (Poverty Oat Grass),Schizachyrium scoparium (Little Bluestem),Sporobolus cryptandrus (Sand Dropseed)TREES FOR REMOVALSCIENTIFIC NAMECOMMON NAMESTATUSSIZE (DBH)QTYNOTESAilanthus altissimaTree of HeavenInvasive6"110"1Robinia pseudoacaciaBlack LocustInvasive8"2(1) M.S.10"2(2) DBL12"118"120"2Prunus serotinaBlack CherryNative9"1DeadPROPOSED TREEPROPOSED SHRUBLOCUS MAPLT12/25/26 Removed Phase 2; show
