Dear Mr. Fallon, this is in reference to Petition 5230 which intends to replace a house
currently at 28 Little Dipper Lane, South Yarmouth, MA.
As an abutter at 48 Little Dipper Lane, I wish to register my strong opposition to the project
as currently planned. The house as planned, is significantly larger and most importantly, talk
than other houses on the street. As designed it will loom over its neighbors and remove any
semblance of privacy that currently exists.
I understand and can support the desire to replace the house that currently stands on that
property, but the size and height of the proposed structure is not appropriate for this
neighborhood.
I ask that the zoning board deny approval of the current plan and require a plan that, at a
minimum, reduces the height to conform to similar homes in the area and take into account
expectations for privacy.
