SITE CONDITIONS
The site consists of a very steep coastal bank with an existing stairway dawn to the intertidal
zone, Thcm are remnants of an existing seawall and an unusual amount of steel, wood and
concrete debris at the base of the bank. We also encountered a lot of rubbish in the aria. There is
a significant tidal flush at this location. The bottom is hard and rocky.
o eelgrass was present on this site.
TECHNIQUE
40 approx. 2 M' sampling plots were established at 10' increments from the 0' mark to the 150'
mark. A standard quahog rake lined with 1/2" mesh was used for all sampling plats_
