HomeMy WebLinkAbout5235 953 Route 28 Seasonal Employee RulesJ1 Motel Stay Rules Thank you for choosing our motel for your summer stay in Cape Cod. We are happy you are here! To make your stay as comfortable and safe as possible, we require you to adhere to the following rules for the duration of your stay: —­� Financial & Payment Requirements • Arrival Payment: We require three weeks of rent paid upfront upon arrival. If this is not provided, you will be denied rooming. • Security Deposit: A one -week security deposit is required. This will be returned at the end of your stay only if all rules have been followed and the room is in the same condition as when you moved in. • Payment Due Date: Payment is due every Sunday by 7:00 PM. • Credit Card Payments: We accept credit cards for payment; however, we charge a 3% processing fee. • Auto -Charge Policy: If you elect to use a credit card, the card will be charged on Sunday at 12:00 PM (Noon). If the payment is declined, we expect cash payment or another card by 7:00 PM. V Stay Duration & Early Departure • Commitment to Stay: You are committing to the stay dates provided upon your arrival. • Early Departure Charges: Early departures will be charged the remaining weeks' payments as originally scheduled, unless management explicitly agrees in writing to waive these charges. , ' Room Maintenance & Cleanliness • Room Care: You are expected to treat your room as if it were your own house. Keep it clean and well -maintained. • Inspections: We will provide cleaning service once per week (depending on staff availability) and will inspect rooms once per week for cleanliness. • Pest Prevention: Do not leave open food containers out in the room. To prevent ants and pests, all food must be stored in sealed containers or the refrigerator. • Damage Reporting: Any maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures) must be reported to the front desk immediately to avoid being held liable for damages. • Trash: You must take out your own trash when it is full. It must be thrown inside the dumpster on the right side of the building. • ! Trash Warning: Do NOT leave trash on the ground or around the dumpster. We have cameras in the area. If you are seen leaving trash outside the dumpster, you will receive a fine. Laundry & Linens • Laundry Service: Laundry is available in the lobby area for $6 per load. • Laundry Etiquette: You must remain with your laundry while it is in the machines and remove it promptly so the next guest can use the machine. • Towels: Please bring your used towels to the lobby and collect a fresh set when needed. Prohibited Activities & Conduct • Zero Tolerance Policy: Any aggressive behavior towards onsite management ---including swearing at, threatening violence, or being violent —will result in immediate eviction. • No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms. Any violation is a $250 fine and cleaning fee, as well as possible eviction. Smoking is allowed outside only, at least 30 feet away from entrances. Please discard butts in the proper receptacle. • Drug Policy: Illicit drug use is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction from the property. • Fire Safety: To prevent fire hazards, the use of hot plates, candles, or incense in rooms is strictly prohibited. • Energy Conservation: AC units must be turned off when you are not in the room. w Noise, Guests & Property • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM -- 7:00 AM. Any violations will be noted; after three violations, we reserve the right to have you removed from the property and inform your employer. • No Overnight Guests: Only registered guests are allowed in rooms overnight. • Outdoor Gatherings: Please use the right side of the property to gather with friends. Dispose of all trash (including cans and bottles) in the outdoor garbage cans. If garbage is left outside consistently, we will restrict outdoor gatherings. • Respect: Respect other guests. If they ask you to keep the noise down, please do so. • Right of Entry: We reserve the right to enter your room without notice if we hear complaints of excessive loud noises, smoking, drug use, or partying. • Bicycles: Bikes should be stored in the bike racks on the right side of the building.
