It has not, so it must be addressed as soon as possible. Please see the photos attached from yesterday’s site visit and provide a strategy for revegetating this area for permanent banks stabilization for review at the next meeting. Bare areas resulting from the invasive species management along the top of the coastal bank will be planted with Carolina rose to match the existing native buffer strip along the top of the bank. Access to the areas proposed with invasive species management will be from the existing lawn as the invasives are growing at the top of the bank adjacent to the lawn. We will get you info and certification for the person who will conduct the invasive species management prior to starting the invasive work towards the end of the growing season. BSC does not have any other projects on the agenda for Thursday 5/21. Kieran is out of the country and I am off Thursday. I am off this Thursday and I live in Dartmouth so it would be a lot for me to come to Yarmouth Thursday evening so the commission can review the edits that (1) we plant Carolina rose in the bare areas resulting from invasive species management and that (2) access can be gained from the lawn. The commission specifically asked for these revisions, and they are pretty minor in scope, so i would figure they will be approved. Could we please continue this until the following hearing on June 4th? BSC we will be at that hearing for the 703 Route 28 NOI. That way BSC can attend for this proposed invasive species management work at 2 Channel Point and the 703 Main St. NOI. Let me know if this is ok, thank you! Attendance tonight may be helpful in case the Commission decides other action may be needed. For example, I reviewed the relevant file history today (quick summary attached) and it seems that an ongoing invasive species management plan was required as part of the COC for 083-2029. This hasn’t been received, so they may wish to include that as an item to review at the next hearing along with those you outlined which will be helpful. We would like to request to continue that RCOC application until the Yarmouth Conservation Commission hearing on May 7th, 2026. We are hoping that by early spring the marsh grasses and veg on the bank will be green, growing, and looking in better shape than it currently does now in the middle of winter. BSC did complete a site visit earlier in 2025 as an RCOC inspection. I will draft a 2025 monitoring report for the coastal bank stabilization at 2 Channel Point Drive based on that inspection so that you have an annual monitoring report. I will get that report to you soon Can you please confirm that this RCOC application is being continued until May 7th, 2026? By that time we expect to have more details from the landscaper of what species and the number of plugs that were planted on the bank in 2024 and a spec sheet for the silt sox; which we have been assured is biodegradable.
