Project Narrative
The applicant is pleased to submit a Notice of Intent application for the construction of a
swimming pool. The 25,162 s.f. property is currently developed with a single family dwelling and
is located in a residential neighborhood. The proposed pool will be located within Land Subject to
Coastal Storm Flowage (LSCSF) flood zone AE (EL 11). No other resource areas are located within
100' of this property.
No work will take place within Priority/Estimated Habitat of endangered species.
Work Proposed within Resource Area
Existing single family dwelling. Proposing to construct swimming pool and patio area within
existing maintained lawn. All work will take place within existing developed areas. A drainage pit
is proposed for seasonal drawdown of the pool.
Land Subiect to Coastal Storm Flowage
• The property is located within flood zones AE El. 11
• No fill is proposed
• The proposed work will not generate any additional stormwater runoff.
• No adverse impacts are expected during any flooding event.
All work will conform to flood zone and building code standards. No fill is expected to be required
for this project and no trees are expected to be impacted.
