S.W. Cole Engineering Construction Services Technician Mohammed Rifaz arrived onsite at approximately 06:30 AM to observe concrete placement activities and perform field testing at the placement locations noted below. Upon arrival, Mohammed Rifaz met with Rayssa Fonte, who provided information regarding the day’s planned concrete placement activities. SBR Walls 19 & 12 Concrete was delivered by Cape Cod Ready Mix and consisted of a 1½‑inch aggregate, 4,500‑psi concrete mix with Sika Control 75 and an energy surcharge. Approximately 111.0 cubic yards of concrete were placed at SBR Walls 19 and 12. Specified Mix Requirements Slump: 7.0 to 10.0 inches Air Content: 3.0% to 6.0% (air‑entrained) Concrete samples were collected from the first and tenth loads, and standardized field testing was performed with the following results: 1st Load – Truck No. 51 Slump: 6.0 inches Air Content: 4.5% Concrete Temperature: 68°F Concrete Construction Observation Report The S.W.COLE field representative is on-site at the request of our client to provide construction materials testing and to observe and document construction activities. One additional cylinder from each set was cast for hold purposes. SBR Tank 1 Columns Concrete was delivered by Cape Cod Ready Mix and consisted of a ¾‑inch aggregate, 4,500‑psi concrete mix with Sika Control 75 and an energy surcharge. Approximately 18.0 cubic yards of concrete were placed for the SBR Tank 1 columns. Specified Mix Requirements Slump: 7.0 to 10.0 inches Air Content: 3.0% to 6.0% (air‑entrained) A concrete sample was collected from the first load, and standardized field testing was performed with the following results: 1st Load – Truck No. 67 Slump: 7.5 inches Air Content: 3.8% Concrete Temperature: 75°F One set of five (5) 4‑inch by 8‑inch concrete cylinders was cast from the first load for laboratory compressive strength testing at 7, 14, and 28 days (two cylinders at 28 days). One additional cylinder was cast for hold purposes.
