Dear Conservation Commission,
As the owners of 282 South Sea Avenue in West Yarmouth, MA and also as an abutter and seller of the property,
we would like to voice our concerns about the proposed building plans for 286 South Sea Avenue.
1. The Purchase and Sale was for a single family dwelling with no mention of an additional ADU. We would like
to know the purpose of the ADU in writing.
2. We have concerns about drainage on the South side (the entrance). The building plans show that pavement will
be used on the South side entrance to the property. This will displace water and run off will more than likely end up
on our property. This needs to be addressed.
3. On the East side there is a proposed swail, but it does not run far enough to protect our backyard. Further,
where will the water from the swail be deposited.
Please address our concerns at the hearing at Yarmouth Town Hall on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 5 p.m..
