The Health Department has reviewed the applicant's application for a special Permit under Section 104.3.2, Section 202.5 use (F8), and Section 406, to construct a building to house four natural gas powered electric generators to supply electricity to the utility's facility, located at 127 White's Path, South Yarmouth (Map 87, Parcel T5), which is located within the Aquifer Protection Overlay District. Colonial Gas must adhere to all current Board of Health regulations regarding Handling and Storage of Toxic or Hazardous Material. In order to service these four electric generators, the applicant must transport extra oil and antifreeze to the site from the current berm containment areas used for storage of all other material. The added oil and antifreeze must be stored in the current containment area, which, with the added storage increase, should still be kept at 150% volume to meet current regulations. Also, the applicant must submit a proposal on how they intend to transport materials safely while reducing the chance of a spill. The applicant has been to site plan review and has verbally agreed to all requirements discussed at the review. DMM/mao cc: file Primed on ( Recycled L ! Paper
