Dear Inkley,
This letter is to confirm that I have reviewed the as-built framing conditions for the connector between the two structures.
The stamped drawings(prepared by ERT Architects with the structural portion reviewed and stamped by this office)indicated the
roof beam connections to the posts were to be either Simpson ACE post caps or Simpson LSTA15 straps. The contractor
provided..,traps in lieu of the caps. I have reviewed the as-built condition and found it to be structurally sound. No further work is
required.I-i addition,I reviewed the connection of the beam to the existing structure.The contractor was only able to get the top
two thirds of the connectors into the existing structure. However, because of the short spans involved the loading is relatively
small and the existing screws are structurally adequate to transfer the design loads to the existing structure and no further work is
