Hello Stephen,
Thank you for calling to discuss the dock at your property on 9 Pilgrim Road in
Yarmouth. To summarize our discussion: when the dock was reported to
Conservation it was not in the permitted configuration. Any change or substantial
repair to a dock requires prior approval from Conservation. However, the
configuration reported was only temporary, and the pilings have not been changed.
You also mentioned that the walkway to the dock had been destroyed and will need
to be replaced. This work will likely require filing a Notice of Intent (NOI). You will
need to work with a professional land surveyor or engineer to provide all the required
information for the NOI, so I have attached a list of consultants that can provide these
services.
