In September 2021, the Commission issued an Order of Conditions for the above -referenced
site, for the construction of sheet pile wall. Special condition #14 of this order requires
revetment stones to be added to the wall when 50% of the sheet pile wall is exposed above the
mean high water line.
A site visit was made in July and a survey of the existing conditions relative to the proposed
plan was carried out. It was discovered that the grade at the bottom of the exiting wall has
eroded approximately 2' since its installation meeting the threshold for condition 14.
Recent photos are enclosed for review showing this erosion and exposed wall. Beacon Marine
is prepared to install the toe stones per the approved plan dated 7-29-21 pending the
Commission's discussion.
