The proposed parking for the Memory Care building is located in the front along Route
28 would typically not be encouraged and not consistent with the Standards. In this case,
there appears to be a significant amount of landscaping proposed which should provide
sufficient screening.
My feelings on the “eye brow” treatments on the roofs are that I would rather see typical
“dog house” type of dormers, more in Cape Cod and Standards style. I will defer to Sarah
for her opinion.
The building elevation 40B on the Memory Care building on the top of page A4.04 is
different?? This elevation faces Town Brook Road and I would like to see the small
windows addressed and the clapboard siding with no windows. I understand that these
walls are a part of the kitchen and a maintenance area, but I am sure the architects can
improve on that.
