Hi David,
Thank you for the plans. I did get an 11x17 and full size of the landscaping plans, and full size of the architectural
plans/elevation, but did not get any copies of site plans. Just Richie Anctil in Engineering got those. FYI - I don’t
think Item 4 below is reflected on the plans.

I hope you had a great vacation week. The weather was certainly fabulous at the end of last week. I am attaching
the latest site plans. I will send a second email with the revised landscaping plans. In order to reduce the file size
to an acceptable size for emailing some of the plan resolution will be lost. If you print at full sheet size some of the
quality will not be as good as the original. Half size copies were delivered to Mike last week for distribution. You
presumably have a copy of these by now.
The only plan changes since DR are based on your 5/15 email list as discussed with you after the DR meeting.
Your list follows (my comments are in italics)
Grist Mill Parking:
1.Consider eliminating the curbing associated with the Grist Mill Parking. I’m not sure it’s needed unless
there is some reason I am missing. (Curbing has been eliminated as requested)
2.Consider reducing width of access to Grist Mill to 22’. This will still give adequate room to maneuver in
and out of the parking spaces (total width of 42’) and cut down on pavement. (pavement width has been
reduced)
3.Please add a minimum of two streetscape trees on either side of the entrance to supplement existing
trees. Design Review may also have comments on landscaping this parking area.(These have been added.
See landscape plans)
4.Consider having the sidewalk parallel to Route 28 on Town property to the driveway, rather than going
into the property to the parking. (This has been done)
5.Specify the width and material for the “rebuilt” portion of the walk from the parking to the Grist Mill. (The
walkway is shown as stone dust)
6.Please confirm that you will be removing the existing gravel parking area on the Town owned lot also and
loaming and seeding. (all gravel, pavement etc. within the limit of work, including the Town parcel will be
removed)
Memory Care:
1.Memory Care staff parking spaces are only 18’ on the east side. Consider having a 20’ space to avoid cars
overhanging into the sidewalk area and impacting pedestrian movement, or make sidewalk 6’.(This has
been done)
2.For consistency, all streetscape sidewalk should be concrete with vertical granite curbing. There is a
small section that is listed as bituminous walk with cape cod berm (on Town Brook near Route 28
intersection). (This was the intent and has been clarified on the plans)

Can you please send me pdfs of the Site Plans for the Memory Care Facility. It seems only one hard
copy of these plans were submitted with the SPR application. Please confirm that the plans for the
Independent living are the same as Design Review.
