I am a neighbor of the proposed goat farm,at 95 Wharf lane. MY husband and I are not
able to attend the meetings because of health concerns.I have sent several comments
about it that I feel have fallen on deaf ears. I’ve heard they want to approve it because
they don’t want to look unfriendly,I’ve heard they really don’t like the people,I’ve heard
from the neighbors it really won’t affect me etc. Your job is to decide if this will not affect
the lives of this town, will there be flies will the manure get into the water will the fence be
6 ft high, forever changing the bucolic setting, will the Keveny bridge collapse under the
strain of daily trucks, will the road have to be widened so cars can pass, will the constant
baaing drive the unaffected neighbors crazy. Is there a noise ordinance that doesn’t apply
to farms, will it smell. Your job is to decide the health ramifications not the politics. Please
consider this, John and Michele Lembree.
