Hi Lou,
I have been in contact with Dick Martin, Chairman of the DRC, to discuss your changes to the architecture of
the building proposed for 22 Aaron’s Way.
I relayed the attached revised plans and the following information to Dick for his review:
The size of the building and how it lays out on the site would remain the same and there are no proposed
changes to the site design or landscaping proposed.
The rear elevation will have the same windows and doors as shown in the original plans submitted to the
DRC.
The more traditional sloped roof will have a 4.5:12 pitch, with the entrance ways having a 7.5:12
pitch. The proposed roof material will be architectural style asphalt shingles, weathered wood color.
The siding will remain the same gray vinyl siding.
Based on this information, and that the proposed changes appear to be an improvement over the original design,
the DRC Chairman felt that no supplemental meeting would be required with the Design Review Committee. I
personally like the more traditional sloped roof, the gable ends over the entrances, and the cupola. I have
copied the Building Commissioner on this e-mail, so he is aware of the changes and that no DRC meeting is
required.
