Hi Chris,
I think all your comments below could be brought up at multiple venues.
1. The first would be me bringing it up at Staff level Site Plan Review. I am copying the pertinent Town Staff
on this e‐mail to give them a heads up. I would expect Kieran Healy to submit to Formal Site Plan Review
this Friday or next Friday.
2. The second would be at the Community Housing Committee public meeting.
3. Last would be the Planning Board Public Hearing for the Special Permit.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Kathy

We took a closer look at the building today...
1. The doors on Units 26 and up are so narrow that we don't believe that EMS or other responders could get
people thru them and they are the only egress for an occupant in a fire etc. Also wonder how you get
furniture in.
2. Also the issue of 250 square feet with both cooking, bathing, living and sleeping area would or should
only then have a very limited occupancy number allowed?
3. And the more I thought about it as a mother, how would you bathe young children living in a unit with
only a small stand up shower unit?
We are not opposed to developing it, but raise the issues of the cost of development/profit for him out
weighing the safety/physical needs/quality of life issues for tenants.
So who is the appropriate Board to raise these questions with?
PS. The flat doors are very ugly, basement door like in appearance versus the 6 panel!

Hi Chris,
The project now needs to go to Formal Site Plan Review which is Town Staff. Then they will need to apply to the
Planning Board for Special Permit relief on a number of issues. The Special Permit Decision would be a good place
to include conditions, although we have to be sure our conditions are legally allowed. I am hoping they will make
the necessary changes to the site plan to reflect the comments from Design Review prior to submission to Site Plan
Review.
Thanks,
Kathy

Hi Chris & Paul,
Thanks for the words of encouragement. We do try hard here at Town Hall even if we are not always successful.

Thanks for allowing us to come and see the review of the plans.
Paul commented as we left about how lucky the town is to have you as you always do a good job
of reviews and at presentations... and today was no exception.
Take care,
chris
