As requested by Wright-Pierce, S.W. COLE rep was onsite to perform concrete sampling and
concrete testing at the locations referenced above.
S.W. COLE rep Alex Charnitsky arrived onsite at approximately 9:30 AM to perform the
requested services.
S.W. COLE rep observed concrete placement during the sampling and testing activities.
Concrete Delivery Truck 24, Load 1, arrived onsite carrying approximately 11 cubic yards of
4,500-psi concrete containing 1½-inch aggregate. Project personnel added Sika 75 admixture
to the concrete prior to placement. The contractor placed the concrete via pump truck.
Approximately 92 cubic yards of concrete were placed during this visit. One set of field tests
was performed on sampled concrete and yielded the following results:
Truck 24 – Load 1
Slump: 6.5 inches
Air Content: 3.1%
Concrete Temperature: 80°F
Laboratory compressive strength test results will be reported separately upon completion of
testing.
One set of 6×12-inch compression test cylinders was fabricated for laboratory testing at 7, 14,
and 28 days (two cylinders), along with two additional hold cylinders.
Test results and observations were verbally reported to the onsite client representative, Rayssa
Fonte, while onsite.
