Re: 14 Ahab Road, Yarmouth Port, MA – Fence
Dear Mr. and Ms. Cheglakov,
As you are aware, your property is located in the scenic and historic Old King’s Highway Regional Historic
District.
The Yarmouth Old King’s Highway District office has received inquiries regarding the fence that has been
altered recently on your property.
As noted during the OKH hearing on July 27, your fence was approved with the stipulation that the second
panel from the street was to be removed, and the first panel made a “step down” to create better visibility
for the traffic entering Union Street from Ahab Road.
Only one panel has been removed from the fence. Please remove two panels and replace the panel closest
to the street with a “step down” or tapered panel as was agreed during the OKH hearing.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Robert Wilkins
