Riley Nordahl was onsite to perform concrete field-testing services associated with the referenced concrete placement. S.W.COLE Engineering Construction Services Technician Riley Nordahl arrived onsite at approximately 6:20 AM. Upon arrival, the S.W.COLE rep. met with Rayssa Fonte of CDM Smith, who provided an overview of the planned work activities for the day. Concrete was supplied by Cape Cod Ready Mix and consisted of 1-1/2-inch, 4,500 psi concrete with Sika Control 75 as an additive. Approximately 135 cubic yards of concrete were placed during the observation period. Concrete samples for field-testing and fabrication of compressive strength specimens were obtained from Loads 2 and 10 of the concrete placement. Field-testing services were performed in general accordance with applicable ASTM test procedures. Concrete test specimens were fabricated for subsequent compressive strength testing at 7-day, 14-day, and two 28-day intervals, with one specimen retained as a hold sample.
