The Yarmouth Fire dept. does not require a fire alarm system that is monitored to register
with the dept.
The Yarmouth Fire Dept. does not permit new installations of fire protection systems. All
permits shall be issued from the building dept. for a "fire protection permit" and any
associated electrical permit if needed. The portalto apply online is at the website;

Any systems installed without a permit from the building dept. will be reported to the building
dept. for enforcement.
lf you have any questions, please reach out to me and I will do my best to assist you.
Respectfully,l/ r/*7,*
Lt. Matthew Bearse
