We live on the corner of Standish Way and Webster Road. Parking for our Home is on Webster Rd. This necessitates
turning left onto Standish when we are leaving.
81 Standish Way does not have sufficient room to park the number of cars that are typically there - usually a minimum of
three - so one is always parked on the street.
In these pictures it shows five and six vehicles parked at the home. This is very common.
If they are allowed to park their boat in their driveway it would take away two parking spots and this would mean there
would always be two cars minimum parked on the street, if not three. It creates a very unsafe situation on Standish Way.
In the present bylaw, parking a boat in the driveway cannot create a safety hazard, 81 Standish Way is unable to fulfill this
requirement.
Please do not allow this Special Permit. It is a violation of the new regulations.
Note: due to a prior commitment we are unable to attend this hearing in person.
