Updated seasonal pruning following conservation recommendations.
To be performed after conservation approval has been given
Location of plant material is from the perspective of main entry point and targets (trees and shrubs) are oriented in a
clockwise direction.
Hedge of vegetation surrounding the lawn
- increase lawn clearance from vines overhanging the lawn by approximately 3'
××× this should include only grape vine, multifloral rose, Virginia creeper, bittersweet, etc.
- Reduce height of vines (as above) within 12' of lawn to between 7-9 foot height, utilizing hands pruners to create a variable
height, giving a more natural appearance, per conservation guidelines
Hedge Row of vegetation (left side of the open field) - Perform natural pruning intended to maintain the tree’s characteristic
growth pattern to provide clearance by applying:
- cut vines to expose 25' long stone wall

Clean affected work areas and haul resulting wood, brush and branches
