Hi Joseph,
Thank you for your quick response to this matter. I think the only trees that I have removed
back in 2022 were the blow downs from the tornado that came through my back yard. Does
that sound correct? These were on the same lot towards the swamp area and needed to be
removed from the property since they were on the ground and in the way. I will be happy to
plant whatever is native to the Cape as requested.
In any case I would like to proceed with an RDA, please let me know if I should make the
additional payment.

been denied at this time due to possible unpermitted work.
It appears that around 2022 some trees were removed within 35 feet of the
wetland without a permit. This is a potential violation which would require
replanting with native trees. Until this is resolved I can’t approve additional
vegetation removal.
Let me know if you have any information regarding the tree removal, it may just
be missing from our files. I will discuss how the Commission would like to
proceed. One possible solution would be to approve the access path and include
replanting as part of the project, but this would require additional information and
a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA). I could apply the $50 you
already paid for the AR to the $100 RDA fee if the Commission agrees.
Let me know if you have any questions or additional information, and I’ll be in
touch once I’ve had a chance to review with the Administrator.
