Re: Notice of Violations of 105 CMR 410.000 and MGL Chapter 143.
Rental(s) Inspected: Building #2, Common Areas
To Whom it May Concern,
This is follow up to inspections conducted on your property on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Items/ information for your review:
Building 2
• Elevator Certificate expired.
o Violation: MGL Chapter 143: Inspection and Regulation of, and Licenses
for, Buildings, Elevators and Cinematographs
• Laundry room: observed washing machine missing front door, standing water on floor.
o Violation: 105 CMR 410.235: Owner’s Installation, Maintenance and Repair
Responsibilities
• Trash is overflowing in laundry room, common area hallway and stairs have not been
cleaned and are in unsanitary condition.
o Violation: 105 CMR 410:570: Maintenance of Areas in a Sanitary and Safe
Condition
Dumpster Enclosure
• Dumpsters have not been empties and are overflowing with rubbish and garbage left in
area, complaints of rodents in dumpster area.
o Violation: 105 CMR 410.570: Maintenance of Areas in a Sanitary and Safe
Condition
• Bulk items left in garbage area.
o Violation: 105 CMR 410.560: Refuse
Proactive maintenance to these properties would prevent the severity of these items. The property
above will be placed on an annual inspection schedule. I look forward to the owner’s call for the
remaining units that require inspections.
