Dear Mr. Grylls,
It has come to my attention that the contractor provided a coil strap for the beam to post connection in lieu of the
post caps that were shown on the design drawings (reviewed and stamped by this office). After reviewing the as-built
condition it is my professional opinion that the as built condition is structurally sound and no remedial work is required.
