It was nice to touch base with you earlier this month and discuss the initial steps regarding our potential bridge replacement. I should have more to report after our next meeting with
Fuss & O’Neill in October.
On another note, last weekend’s nor’easter unfortunately exposed approximately a dozen sandbags just southwest of the area where the previously exposed bags were recently re-covered
(photos of both areas are attached). The damage does not appear to have met the thresholds outlined in the replacement protocol letter, and I have reviewed the situation with Leslie,
who agrees with that assessment. As a result, we would like to re-cover the exposed bags early next month.
Of course, if you would like to meet on site to review the area, just let me know.
