The proposed work consists of removing the existing 8-foot by 10-foot deck and replacing it with a new 8- foot by 14-foot 9-inch deck. The new deck will be constructed entirely of pressure -treated wood and will include wood balusters and code -compliant handrails in accordance with the Massachusetts State Building Code. The proposed deck will maintain a traditional wood appearance that is consistent with the character of the property and surrounding neighborhood.
