Henry Among was onsite to perform concrete field-testing services associated with the referenced concrete placement. S.W.COLE Engineering Construction Services Technician Henry Among arrived onsite at approximately 6:30 AM. Upon arrival, the S.W.COLE rep. met with CDM representative who provided an overview of the planned work activities for the day. Concrete was supplied by Cape cod Concrete and consisted of 1-1/2-inch, 4,500 psi  design strength of concrete and sika control  Approximately 66 cubic yards of concrete were placed during the observation period. Concrete samples for field-testing and fabrication of compressive strength specimens were obtained from Load 1 of the placement. Field-testing services were performed in general accordance with applicable ASTM test procedures. Concrete test specimens were fabricated from the sampled concrete for subsequent laboratory compressive strength testing at  One (1) cylinder for 7-day testing One (1) cylinder for 14-day testing Two (2) cylinders for 28-day testing One (1) hold specimen.. Field Test Results – Load 1 Slump: 7.5 inches Air Content: 4,5% Concrete Temperature: 65°F Based on the field-testing performed on the sampled concrete, the measured slump, air content, and temperature values were observed to be within the project-specified acceptance ranges at the time of testing.
