Notes:
As requested by Wright-Pierce, S.W. COLE rep was onsite to perform concrete sampling and concrete
testing at the locations referenced above.
S.W. COLE rep Alex Charnitsky arrived onsite at approximately 6:00 AM to perform the requested
services.
S.W. COLE rep observed concrete placement during the sampling and testing activities.
Concrete Delivery Truck 73, Load 3, arrived onsite carrying approximately 11 cubic yards of 4,500-psi
concrete containing 1-1/2-inch aggregate. Project personnel added Sika 75 admixture to the concrete
prior to placement. The contractor placed the concrete via pump truck.
Approximately 165 cubic yards of concrete were placed during this visit. Two sets of field tests were
performed on sampled concrete and yielded the following results:
Truck 73 – Load 3
Slump: 10.0 inches
Air Content: 4.6%
Concrete Temperature: 70°F
Truck 54 – Load 9
Slump: 7.0 inches
Air Content: 5.5%
Concrete Temperature: 71°F
Two sets of 6×12-inch compression test cylinders were fabricated for laboratory testing at 7, 14, and 28
days (two cylinders), along with one additional hold cylinder.
AEC relayed results verbally to Client Rep and departed at 11:15AM
