Project Summary
The Applicant proposes to make renovations to the existing property including the installation of a new elevator.
Comments
Building: (1) All Handicapped Accessibility improvements are exempt from zoning pursuant to MGL 40A Section
3. (2)An evaluation of other improvements will be made to determine whether they are Handicapped Access
/ related. If they are not a special permit will be required as per Section 104.3.2. (3)The height of the proposed
elevator tower shall be shown on the plans.

Design Review:Not Present
KU Economic Development: Proposed changes will enable applicant to better utilize second floor for public
meetings.
Engineering: Approximately 204 parking spaces exist on site,none of these will be lost to the proposed
construction. If the Building Commissioner or the Board of Appeals determines a complete upgrade is required,
this would involve buffers,parking,and drainage. The Owner's Engineer shall inspect and certify all site work
(form provided at meeting).
j Fire: Fire Alarm system needs to cover the expansion as required by Mass building code.
Health: New 11,000 Gallon septic tank and 2,000 Gallon grease trap tank proposed.Both tanks must be H2O as
`iN under drive area:both tanks to be waterproofed.Show T sizes;Restaurant seating will be 102;Remove old septic
tank;All tank covers to grade;Down stairs toilet rooms to be plumbed to new septic tank.
