This was supposed to be an open smoking deck that has evoived to a more permanent of structure. The heater is a portable upright outdoor L.P. patio heater. YFD has jurisdiction of the LP and will want to order them to remove the heater, it is LP fueled, for outdoor use, two LP tanks are stored inside on the deck, and the heater is very close to combustibles above. The owner was not available at the time of my vfsit, others where not qualified to address my concerns. p.s.-the customers probably thought it was aiways the great drinks, rather than the CO? 12/22/2008 ° Page 2 of 2 PETER-D _ _. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ From: Brandolini,Jim Sent: FNday, December 19, 2008 12:53 PM To: DeFreitas, Peter Cc: Murphy, Bruce; Armstrong,James Subject: Doyle's Restaurant Peter: Bruce Murphy has advised me that Doyle's has a gas fired heater in the outside deck. If you haven't already would you check this out. Thanks Jim 12/22/2008 Bob I visited Doyle's this afternoon. On the outside smoking deck, which in enclosed, there is a large upright(aprox 7') gas heater, along with a Keno N and 3 Ns. There were people on the deck consuming aicohol and smoking. I did talk to the owner, Bill Surprenant, who stated Lt Rooney had visited today, and fire had visited in past. I did inform him, the smoking area was to be open to the outside more than was currently open. Bruce _.____. -,__.__ ___ . _ ._ ,. . _-_-___ ___.___._ . . . _ _ . ,__.._..___._ _---___u _____..__..
