Land surveyor Kieran Healy advised that this is a small lot with a small building.
The leaching area is located outside the town 100 foot requirement and the septic
tank is located outside the state 50 foot requirement. Mr. Healy and owner Mrs.
Cooper gave a history of the lot and its use.
Dr. Boskey asked about the size of the building. Mr. Healy replied that it is 128
square feet. The septic system must be designed for 2 bedrooms. The Health
Director said that 2 other boards will be looking at the project The project will
need Board of Appeals and Conservation Commission approval as building
setbacks cannot be met.
MOTION: (Ms. Craig) To approve the variance requests for 7 Highland Street.
Variances will expire on December 31, 2013.
