Subject: Bass River Golf Restaurant
Dear Mr. Moran,
This letter is a summary of ow meeting from last Friday, September 5, 200 , in regazds
to the seating allowance within the Bass River Golf restaurant. The c nt approved
seating per the floor plan you submitted shows an indoor seating of fo -six (46) with
entertainment, and sixty-two (62) without entertainment. The outside sea ng area will be
for take-out only, with no waitress service. A sign should be placed des' nati�g this area
as take-out only. It is my understanding that the take-out will be on he concrete area
outside the restaurant.
It is possible that a limited outdoor service area could be considere . Based on the past
historical inside occupancy of seventy-three (73) seats, the differen e from the currently
approved inside seating up to the historic number could be loca ed in an area that is
separated from the take-out and smoking area. A seating floor pla must be submitted for
prior approval before any changes in the outside seating is allow .
Any outdoor cooking on the grill is limited to ten (10) events per calendar year. The
outdoor cooking will be under the direction of your food safety certified employee. The
cooking would be limited to hamburgers and hotdogs. Any ot er menu item would need
prior approval by the Health Department. r
As I mentioned at the meeting, the Board of Health is revi@wing outdoor food service
seating and take-out azeas, and whether consideration must include septic system
capacity.
