Brad Hall spoke to me after speaking with Biil Moran. He advised Bill that if the Health Division communicates in writing to Brad that there is an emergency that needs to be mitigated with respect to the area where the picnic tables are now located, Brad can allow shells or stones to be installed as an interim measure pending Concom review of a long-term solution. I do not know whether Bruce M. will be inclined to declare such an emergency. I asked Brad about the prospects of Concom approving a concrete slab as an improvement over the existing putting green. He indicates there is some possibility that Concom might approve it if it were combined with a pianting of a native plant buffer between the patio and the river bank. We need to make sure that Bill and our regulatory agencies understand that any project undertaken at the golf course wiil be a Town project that Jim Armentrout controis(Bob Lawton or I will need to sign any formal permit filing.) If Bill wishes to assist by providing funding and gathering information, so much the better but neither Building, Health, nor Concom should take any action on a project submitted by Bill without written approval from us.
