Chuck-
Bruce has reviewed the paperwork and has the following comments:
1. Proposed 1st Floor Plan -the entryway into the proposed family room must be flush with the hallway wall. It
looks like there is a small bump out on both sides of the entryway that may encourage the installation of a door
which would not be allowed.
2. Septic Plan - Provide the proposed Gallons Per Day the system is designed for. Show the distance between
the leaching and the groundwater/bottom of test hole. Provide the test hole results from the original plan.
Please call or email with questions.
Thanks, Amy

Hi John & Chuck- '
Could you scan me a revised set of floor plans that label the rest of the rooms and I will review them with the
director to confirm his approval. (
Also, is there a page for the third floor tower?
Also, septic plan will be fine if you can add an outline of the proposed leach showing the perimeter dimensions,
and on the plan view, show the new lines from the d-box into the leach chambers.
I will consult with Bruce once I get the floor plans.
Thanks, Amy ,

I am swamped with plan reviews but your office is certainly welcome to drop off a plan and explain the
highlights to me for an eventual formal review.
i should be in the office this afternoon if you want to give me a timeframe.

We have been to Conservation for this project, and I believe it has or will be reviewed by Zoning shortly.
Would it be possible for Chuck Rowland from our office to stop by to review our plan. I think we should be very
close to having all the information needed for a permit- but want to dot all the I's and cross all the Ys.
Chuck lives in Yarmouth, so beginning or end of day would be preferable.

No additional test hole needed -good sand and no groundwater and original test hole was done under the new

Amy,
Thank you.
The goal will be to do this variance free, but I will get back to you once we are further into a real design.
The other question I have is - is an additional perc test required? I have attached the plan for the existing '
system. '

Yes -the leach can be extended at an angle and still get credit for the sidewall. Just let us know if you think it
will need variances for the leach expansion -that may require full BOH review.

Amy,
j We are working on a proposed addition /expansion plan for a house located at 47 Harbor Road.
i
The septic system was upgraded for 3 bedrooms in 2008.
We are trying to determine if there is room to expand the system.
On the attached Addition Sketch I have showed the approximate location of the leaching field in the drive.
Because of the property line and building setbacks it is not possible to extend the rectangle linearly.
Could we put an angle in the field for an additional chamber and still get credit for sidewall?
