Subject: Capt. Parker's Pub &Restaurant
Capt. Pazker's Pub & Restaurant is licensed for 130 seats.
A review ofthe septic history is as follows:
1. May 1982— septic system repaired, Kit Holmes, septic installer.
2. June 1985 —septic system repaired, Roger Roberts, septic installer.
April 1, 1985 —Boazd of Health variances granted for septic repair.
June 28, 1984— State D.E.P. approved town variances.
May 21, 1984 —Board ofHealth variances granted for septic repair.
3. December 7, 1990— septic system repaired, T.W. Nickerson, septic installer.
Engineer inspected and certified septic installation.
4. December 6, 1996— septic system repaired, Robert B. Our Co., septic installer.
June 6, 1995 - State D.E.P. approved alternative septic installation.
44% reduction in leach field.
Two(2) Bioclere above-ground alternative septic units installed.
Engineer inspected and certified septic installation.
Coastal Engineering performing quarterly operation maintenance inspections of Bioclere
alternative units.
On July 28, 2005, I spoke with Gerry Manning, owner of Capt. Parker's Pub. He informed me
that he and his maintenance man inspect the septic tank and grease trap approximately four (4)
times per week. Grease is the major component for potentially clogging the Bioclere units and
� leaching system soil. The grease trap and septic tank are monitored and preventive maintenance
pumpings aze done two to three times per month with the Robert B. Our Co. This department
has not received any complaints in regards to overflowing septic or septic odors at Capt.
Parker's.
